You can permanently erase your personal data from Khedma while keeping your account, login, and history usable — at any time, whether or not you currently have the app installed.
If you have the app
Open Khedma, go to your profile, scroll to the bottom of Settings, and choose "Delete my data." For your security, you'll confirm with a one-time code sent to your email or phone. This erases your profile photo, bio, CV, ID documents, location, notifications, favorites, badges and activity logs, and clears the text/attachments from messages, reviews, bids, reports and disputes you've made — your account, login, and passkeys stay active.
What gets deleted
Your profile photo, bio, CV, ID documents and selfie, location, notifications, favorites, and badges are permanently removed. The text and attachments in messages, reviews, bids, reports and disputes you've made are cleared, though the surrounding record may stay for the other party involved.
What we keep, and why
Your phone/email login, password, and passkeys stay active so you can keep using the app. Payment and donation records are kept for a limited period as required by law. Moderation records (warnings, flagged content) and the tasks/bids/conversations themselves are kept, since deleting them would also erase the other party's record of the transaction.
